Calla Lilies Color work & Redwork

With the arrival of Spring, I'm reminded of new beginnings with the blossoming of flowers. This year, lilies in particular. I've always thought calla lilies were beautiful and usually have a bouquet for Easter. But until I digitized this set of Color work and Redwork Callas, I honestly had no idea they came in colors other than white or yellow and just like roses, each color has their own meaning! If you're interested, you can read more about calla lily meanings, here. I'm sure you can Google more sources, but I found that one to be short and to the point.

Symbolizing holiness and faith, purity and innocence, sophistication and charm, tranquility and peace, the magnificent beauty of the Calla Lily has many meanings. Whether you're stitching the designs on table linens to grace your Easter dinner table or creating a bridal quilt, you'll find many more uses in between, especially if you use the meanings of their colors. These are great for borders and will also compliment other quilt blocks sets on The Country Needle website.
